TVE trusts on the excellent quality of KROMA monitors for its second HD OB Van
A while ago KROMA supplied the broadcast monitors for the first HD OB Van for the Spanish broadcaster. Once again TVE has selected the KROMA LCD/TFT broadcast monitors for their quality and reliability, as essential equipment in the sports and big events’ coverage. The equipment will be integrated shortly in this second HD OB Van.

KROMA will supply 20 pairs of 7’’ monitors (2x7’’), the new LM6507A11. This new monitor features: advanced LED back light technology; resolution of 800x480, 16:9 native and tilting panel. 8 ms response time, no image delay and top black levels.

Also for this second OB Van, KROMA will supply different monitors of its preview portfolio: 35 pairs of 9’’ (2x9’’) LM6509 with resolution of 1024x600 and 170ºH/V viewing angle; 8 units of the 3x5’’ LM6505A11 and 1 unit of the 4x4’’ LM6504A11.

KROMA will also supply 16 units of the reputed LM6017A13, a 17’’ LCD/TFT monitor with excellent resolution, 16:9 native, and similar characteristics to the above. These features together with its dimension and weight make this monitor ideal for OB Vans.


KROMA presents its new VoIP panels for Intercom systems
KROMA launches its new hybrid panels TP5024 and TP5012 as part of the new hybrid generation on intercom systems.

The new TP5024 has 24 LCD configurable keys, able to display both graphics and texts. 4 different pages can be configured into the 24 keys, which give 96 cross-points. The panel has as well 6 different audio connections.

The panel is compatible with external phone calls implemented by KROMA’s crosspoint matrixes and interfaces.

This cutting-edge equipment can be integrated in any new or existing KROMA intercom system.

KROMA will exhibit at Broadcast Madrid 2009
KROMA will participate in the Broadcast Madrid 2009, the main local exhibition for the audiovisual industry in Spain, to be held from the 3rd to the 6th of November.

KROMA will display its new monitor series and intercom systems at the show: The 3000 series (KROMA TFT monitors in 8,4’’, 15’’ and 18’’, specifically designed for TV studios, OB vans and any other broadcast application working in SD). New as well, is the Quad Split series (available in 17’’ and 23’’ screens. Monitors with 8 inputs auto sensing PAL and SD/HD-SDI plus 2 DVI inputs and able to work as video preselector. It displays 4 simultaneous video signals, which can be selected through the front keys of the monitor. Additional features are the In-Monitor displays (IMD’s), Vu-metres, dynamic tally and LTC.

The new LM6057 increases the 6000 series with a 57’’ monitor. The preview line is also completed with the new LM6507 (2x7’’) as to best meet market demands.

On the Intercom family, the new Hybrid matrix TH5048 based on the Voice over IP protocol, featuring 16 digital ports, 28 IP ports and 4 analogue ports in just 1U high. Also on display, the new 1U high hybrid panels TP5012 and TP5024 compatible with analogue, digital and IP intercom systems.

Coinciding with the opening of the Broadcast Madrid, KROMA is finalist for best Spanish company of 2009, price awarded by the magazine ‘Producción Profesional’. This award emphasises the company new image, its product portfolio expansion and KROMA strong international presence. The awards will be presented on the first day of the exhibition, 3rd of November.
